You may have seen Freshmen Academy on our calendar or heard people talking about it. The goal is to help onboard our freshmen by teaching them the essential skills required for Cody High School success. This academy will take place on the first four Wednesdays of September to focus on the following topics identified by CHS staff:
- Academic & Study Skills (Sept 2):
- Time Management & Organization (Sept 9):
- Work Ethic & Responsibility (Sept 16):
- Behavior & Goal Setting (Sept 23):
Our freshmen homeroom teachers will help support this transition to high school by teaching these essential skills to students. Freshman will be expected at the normal 8:00 am start time. 10th through 12th graders will arrive to school by 8:45 am and regular scheduled classes start at 9:00 am.
