Livingston School: CHANGE IN AFTER SCHOOL PLANS
To help ensure the safety of all our children, please make every effort to call the school office prior to 1:30pm, and noon on Friday's.
Without a note or a call from you, your child will be sent home according to their normal after school routine. Thank you.


Livingston Families: ALL CLEAR
We have got clearance from the Fire Department, Gas Department, and Police Officials to return to school. All students will be reporting to their classrooms and returning to a normal school day. Thank you to our Fire Department, Gas Department, and Police Officials for keeping us safe.

Livingston School: DISTRICT EMERGENCY PROTOCOL
Families: Due to a gas leak in the area, we have evacuated staff and students to the Wynona Thompson Auditorium. This is our shelter in place, please feel free to drop off your students at this time. We will take attendance down there, waiting to be cleared from our FIRE DEPT. Our priority is to make sure the students are safe. We will follow up as soon as know it is all clear.

Livingston School: VETERANS RAFFLE
Parents,
Student Council is selling raffle tickets for students to win the chance to be "Teacher for the Day!" They have the chance to be their grade level teachers, specials teachers, and the big kids can even be Mrs. Lewis for the day. All tickets are $1.
All the funds go towards our local veterans to purchase new flags for downtown, and also for a memorial for the fallen Jackson marine, Riley McCollum. We hope you will help our school support our veterans!

Friday, October 29th.
Halloween Fun: Costumes ARE allowed this year.
-Students are NOT required to wear a costume.
-You must be dressed for the weather, costume over their regular clothing.
-No masks, weapons, or props.
-No parade, party is held in their classroom.

Livingston Families: VETERANS DAY

Parents/Guardians:
“God Bless America” will be filmed on Wednesday, October 27th from 10:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. here at the school.
Please dress “patriotic” on that day - in lots of reds, whites, and blues for the video recording.
The video footage of our presentation will be will be presented to our Veterans on November 11, just like we did last year. Thank you to Cactus Music Productions.


Livingston Families: VETERANS FUNDRAISER
*IMPORTANT* Please read.
Each year the students of Park 6 School District hold a fundraiser to support our local Veterans. This year Livingston will be hosting a “Teacher for the Day” raffle. Students can purchase raffle tickets for $1, starting on MONDAY-FRIDAY to be their classroom or grade level teacher for the day, the specialist teachers for the day, or the custodian for the day. 3rd - 5th grades will even have the opportunity to be Mrs. Lewis for the day.
Kindergarten - 2nd grades can purchase tickets in the gym before school.
3rd - 5th grades can purchase tickets in the gym during last recess, 1:45 - 2:00.
The drawing will be held on Friday, October 29th and our Teachers of the Day celebration will be Friday, November 5th.
All the money raised will go toward buying new flags for downtown, and for a memorial for the fallen Marine, Riley McCollum from Jackson.
Thanks for supporting our school and our local Veterans with this fundraiser.
