
Livingston families: A few announcements.
1. Students who are not eating breakfast at 7:45 am, will need to go to the playground before the attendance bell. We are not letting students in any earlier. Older kids can be dropped off in the back. Thank you for supporting your teachers.
2. The lunch menu is constantly changing. Please refer to the updated menu here https://www.park6.org/o/livingston/dining.
3. Our gaiters have not arrived, but we are hoping to get these soon.
4. Please send your student with a labeled mask and water bottle daily.

Livingston Families~When dropping off or picking up your student, please try to not block any of the surrounding home driveways. We've had a couple of complaints about driveways being blocked by parent cars. Thank you for your cooperation!

From Superintendent Monteith ~ First Positive COVID-19 Case
As expected, we had our first positive case of COVID-19. Our partners at Public Health contacted the school immediately and followed up with contact tracing. Within a few hours it was determined that no other students or staff would be required to quarantine. Our implementation of mask wearing and social distancing is working! Thank you to our partners in Public Health! Thank you to students, staff and parents for your support in adhering to our plan! Because of your efforts our schools will stay open!!

The school nutrition department, in efforts to make sure food is available to all children, has opted to feed all children for free until Winter Break or until funds run out. Boys and Girls Club will be closed Thursday and Friday this week only. They will resume a regular schedule after Labor Day. Please make after school plans with your child and teacher.

Book Bags! Just a reminder tonight is the day to drop off book bags! 4:30pm-6:30pm

If you plan on volunteering this school year please fill out an application, and turn into the office for approval. Please go to our district page to print off the application. Steps are below with link to the district page.

4. Go to Volunteer information.
5. Click on the Volunteer application and print.
This must be filled out and approved by Mr. Wood before volunteering.
(Application Must be Renewed in Years Ending in “0” and “5”)
All visitors and volunteers will need to go through the same screening that staff and students do which will include a temperature screening and in the hallways a mask is required.
